Meet with me regularly to work on writing, grammar, math or to discuss novels. I also provide encouragement, organization, and accountability for any other schoolwork that needs to be supervised.
In our conversations we work on goals and accountability, emotional and stress management, and positive mindset to be their best self in all areas of life!

I am also available for in-person tutoring in your home (South Salt Lake county), but space is limited during the school year. Contact me for availability. I work with learning disabilities and ADHD, bringing some brain balance techniques and therapeutic tools from my psychology background. I also mentor families on goals, time management, holistic health, and intervention strategies, encouraging students to become more independent and to own their own education. $60/hour for in home tutoring.

Basic Writing - Sometimes kids have a lot to say, but have trouble getting it down on. Or they write too much, or write in an unorganized way. I can help!

Essay Writing - With me, your tween or teen will learn more about sentence structure, paragraph organization, citing sources, putting information in their own words, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.

Novel Discussions - A personalized way to read and learn literature. Students can choose the books they like, or you can have me encourage them to select better novels. We will discuss them and I’ll have them write about each book, making reflections on lessons and real life applications.

Math - I tutor kids and teens on math basics, pre-algebra, geometry, and algebra. We learn at a comfortable pace and specifically work on developing confidence.
